UIT and CA signed the Core Strategic Partnership Agreement

On July 17, 2009, UIT Beijing held the UIT & CA Core Strategic Partnership Agreement signing ceremony. UIT president Mr. Ren Zhihui and CA (Computer Associates) General Manager of the Asia-Pacific Region Sales Channels Mrs. Vicki Batka had detailed discussion on products and business solutions, the development of disaster recovery backup market, IDC Disaster Recovery Operations Center and other new business. The signing of the Agreement will make UIT as CA the only core enterprise storage partner in China. As well, UIT will be supported by CA in terms of price, technical services and training support.

CA's XOSFOT continuing data protection software solution is put into the UIT system, mainly used in telecommunications IDC Center, Information Center, Enterprises and Institutions, Medical HIS, Public Security Information Technology such as remote data disaster recovery system. At the same time, XOSOFT software is also used exclusively with UIT this year at the main disaster recovery center as the core service leasing component.

In 1995, CA entered the Great China market. In 2000, the China Technical Center was established. There are now over 400 employees and nearly 200 R&D staff in China.
