The UIT BX1200 is an unified IP-SAN/NAS storage system that offers the most flexible and cost-effective foundation for network-based storage in the industry.  It supports flexible connections for iSCSI and SAS ports and features expandable capacity with SAS expansion technology.  It can also be scaled according to actual requirement and the storage can be managed through an intelligent GUI console to simplify administration.  This unified storage system can help you reduce the storage expenditures and totally protect and manage your data securely and easily.

• Large capacity: A single BX1200 provides 12 TB storage space, which enables you to store a large amount of data in an effective manner.  In addition, BX1200 can be expanded with three JBODs and support at most 48 hard disks.
• Excellent architecture: The BX1200 employs multi-core controllers and processors, uses 2U 12 disk slots for the optimum storage density, and supports SAS and SATA hard disks at the same time.
• Rich protocol support: The BX1200 provides both iSCSI and NAS functions and supports multiple protocols such as iSCSI, CIFS, NFS and HTTP.
• High reliability:
  • The BX1200 supports both multiple RAID technologies and hard disk hot backup. Its power supply and heat dissipation modules are redundant and hot swappable in order to ensure system reliability.  Its professional heat dissipation and ventilation structure also give high system stability. 
  • It also provides the Snapshot Copy function to give point-in-time volume image, which can highly increase the disaster recovery capability.
  • It can work with external UPS to ensure the whole data storage operation without affected even in the event of power outage. 
• High performance: The BX1200 can be expanded to such extent (two dual-core Xeon processors and a 16 GB memory at most) with excellent data processing performance.
• Easy to use and easy to manage:
  • You can use the browser to manage and configure BX1200, through the graphical user interface, and also monitor the work status and give performance statistics in the real time. 
  • It also supports email alert feature to inform the administrator once any problem occur so that the administrator can fix it immediately.
• Strong application integration capabilities: The BX1200 supports  installation of surveillance video software and various storage applications from the third-party, such as virtual tape library.
